Purley English Language College Courses

Foreign Language Courses and Tuition:

Accredited by the British Council Alongside our English language programmes, we also teach French, Spanish, Italian and other languages (such as Polish) to children and adults living locally.

Children's Classes

Tuesdays: 4.00-4.50pm Spanish and Italian

Thursdays: 4.00-4.50pm French

Fridays: 4.00-4.50pm Extra English

Fridays: 4.30-5.20pm Polish

These classes use lively material and aim to get the kids speaking and using the language as quickly as possible through role play, movement and song. We also provide a thorough grounding in the relevant grammar. All course materials are included in the cost of just £6.50 per child per session (payable termly in advance). Class size is less than 10.

Adults' Classes

Wednesdays: 7-9pm Spanish

Thursdays: 7-9pm French

These classes are small (less than 7) and friendly and bring together a wide age range. The termly fee is £144 for 12 sessions, including course book. We currently have a beginners' and an intermediate class in Spanish and a beginners class only in French. We can also arrange individual tuition at a rate of £25 per hour.

After-School Language Academy

These courses are for children living locally wishing to learn Foreign Languages.

Cost: £6.50 per 50-minute class

Autum/Winter Term 2008 Fee: £65 for 12 classes
