Our family-run Language School on the Brighton Road, Purley, has been running classes since 1928, and is well established and respected by teachers and students alike.
Children, teenagers and adults from more than 25 countries use the school, and here’s why you should too...
1. 20 Minutes from Central London
London Bridge and London Victoria are just a short train ride away, with Purley Station just a 5 minute walk from the school. It’s proximity to the centre of the capital, together with the peaceful suburban surroundings, make the school’s location a major asset.
2. Open all year round
The school runs courses 12 months of the year with flexible study periods available. Whether you are a beginner or looking to get to a proficient level, you can spend as little as a week or as much as a year working to attain your required grade. Courses run through the holiday and summer periods too, making it easier to choose a time right for you.
3. Students of all ages welcome
The need or desire to improve your language skills can come at any age, so Purley Language School can accommodate children and adults alike. School groups and agents are regular visitors, with specially designed programmes always available.
4. Homestay or B&B Residence
The college can call on well established, security checked host families, who are more than happy to welcome and accommodate students. For the younger visitors, these families can ensure their safe travel to and from the college, which the students parents in particular are grateful for. In addition, the school has developed its very own residency just next door to the college site, with ensuite bathrooms alongside each bedroom.
5. Extra Curricular Activities
The college appreciates that the best way to practise speaking English is by getting out and about, so it organises a whole host of trips and activities for the students to enjoy. Trips to London and its many attractions, or maybe an excursion to one of England’s historic towns and cities, are a regular and well attended distraction. There are sporting and shopping social events too, allowing the students to mix and form friendships.
In addition to the above, the school presents a remarkable level of success at exam level, is accredited by leading Educational Inspectorates, and takes the time to keep track on realistic learning patterns by studying data using its on line testing system.
It’s a great place to learn a new language and make new friends, so check out our courses; we look forward to meeting you!
